Lawn Care and Snow Removal in Nelsonville, OH

Nelsonville is where we live and where this company started, so we know the ground here better than anywhere else we work. The town sits in the hills along US 33 in Athens County, and that geography shapes both halves of what we do. Lawns here run uphill, downhill and across slopes that a lot of equipment struggles with, and yards back up against woods that drop a serious volume of leaves every fall. Then winter arrives and the same hills that made the mowing interesting turn into driveways people cannot get a vehicle up. Add in a downtown with brick walks and tight parking, a college bringing traffic through, and the rental houses scattered across town, and you end up with a lot of properties that need somebody reliable on them twelve months a year rather than seasonally.

Being based in Nelsonville is a practical advantage and not just a line on a website. When a storm comes through overnight we are not driving in from an hour away to start the route, we are already here. We know which streets the city plow hits first and which driveways get buried by it afterward, and we plan around that. Through the summer it means we can keep a tight mowing schedule because nothing on the route involves a long haul. It also means you can find us. A2Z Mowing and Plowing is run by brothers Alec and Zach Taylor, and the people answering the phone are the people doing the work. If something is not right, call us at (740) 818-9770 and you are talking to somebody who can actually fix it.
