Questions
Through the growing season we handle Lawn Mowing, Trimming and Edging, Commercial Lawn Maintenance, Yard Cleanup, Mulch Installation, Landscaping and Planting and Grading and Seeding. Once the weather turns we move to Commercial Snow Plowing, Residential Snow Plowing and Salting and De-Icing.
We work out of Nelsonville and cover Athens, The Plains, Glouster, Chauncey, Hemlock and Buchtel. If you are near one of those and not sure whether you are in range, call us and ask.
Yes, and a good share of our work is commercial. On the grounds side that is Commercial Lawn Maintenance for businesses, rental and multi unit property, churches and offices. In winter it is Commercial Snow Plowing for lots and drive aisles, plus Salting and De-Icing for the areas people walk.
Send us a message through the form on this site or call us. For most properties we want to come look at it before quoting, because square footage alone does not tell us much about slope, access or what is actually there. Head to our contact page and we will get back to you.
Most of our mowing customers sit on a regular route through the growing season, and we set the rhythm with you when you come on. Grass in southeast Ohio moves quickly in late spring and slows down in the heat of summer, so the right interval is not the same in June as it is in August. See the Lawn Mowing page for how a visit runs.
Yes. Overgrown property is a normal call for us. That work is a Yard Cleanup rather than a mowing visit, because the brush, the weeds and the buildup have to come out and leave with us before a regular schedule makes any sense. We quote those after walking the property, since photos never show how deep it goes.
Both, and they are separate passes. Plowing takes the snow off and Salting and De-Icing deals with what is left bonded to the pavement and what refreezes overnight. Some properties get salted on days we never plow at all.
For mowing, gates unlocked, pets inside and anything loose picked up off the grass. For winter work, vehicles off the driveway or the lot, and markers along the edges of the drive before the first snow so we can see where the pavement stops. Point out anything in the ground we should steer clear of once and we will remember it.
